wizz is going to run a tournament
there is no prize (unless zeb you'd like to donate 2 weeks donation bonus for the winner huh huh)
tournament will be a knockout
played in tournies
will start at 5min/turn and 20 forts
you will be disqualified for building forts
first round will be start at 20 forts and last 3 days
BL by reds will disqualify a mage
tourny will be 3 days (actual tourny 4 dys so disputes can be decided)
round 2 will see turn rate drop 1 min and forts raise 3

conditions are you cannot build forts or you will be disqualified
and no casting BL

highest for at the end wins
rounds get harder +3 forts, +1 day as you progres

contact me with a forum PM or ingame message (#61 normal)
if you wish to compete
if I get the numbers
this will be an ongoing competition
a kill wins
or most forts left after final round
tournaments will last 1 day beyond set times to allow checking and any hits/fort loss will be discounted after the set time

rebuild forts and you'll get disqualified
BL as red and you'll be disqualified

last applications by jan 15th

If I get enough applications I'll run a noob and vet comp

Heh, I remember this. Too bad it never worked out. I was truly looking forward to it!

I do remember doing fun stuff in tournaments.

Like one time I cast over 300 nids with just 3500 land (took a lot of gold and turns!)

Other times I'd play green and muld on a 1-minute per turn/30 day tourney which would result in massive land if I logged on a few times a day.

Sometimes there would be inactive guys that never once logged on but they would get like a 10-turn newbie protection. You couldn't spell them or attack them until they used some turns, so you would have to wait until the time limit was reached before you got the victory. But for some reason it let you use temporal vortexes on them. So 3-4 TV's would knock them out of newbie protection and then I was able to BL their forts away. I got a lot of quick victories from 1 vs 1 that way
